Its been a little while since a fish n chip shop has tickkled my taste buds. This place has gone above and beyond. Ordered a large fish n chips. The fish was huge, super tasty, crispy on the outside and soft n fluffy on the inside accompanied with the perfectly fried fat chips. Was also surprised to see such an extensive menue. Fish n chips was sooo good im deffo comming back to try the kebabs and burgers. Well done alans fish bar.

Our go-to chippie which never ever disappoints. Great selection of food for a 'fish and chip' shop. Their kebabs (shish and donner) are especially good. The OAP special Small Cod and Chips is fantastic if you are catering for the needs of someone older in the family. Their chips are second to none! Definitely the best chippie for miles.

Regularly use Alan's, not had a bad meal so far! Food is always hot and fresh. Best Cod and Chips for miles! They have a fantastic selection of food, catering for most tastes. Staff are always happy and friendly. It does get busy, especially on a Friday, so if you want an early dinner, get in quickly. They offer a delivery service but at busy times you may have a wait of upto an hour, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Ordered from here many times and everything has always been amazing. Ordered delivery for today for 8pm and they sent it early so no one was home. Rang and spoke to a very helpful man who recognised the issue straight away and is going to send fresh food out later tonight at the time I asked for. I would recommend this place for fried chicken, fish, chips but especially their large mixed chicken kebabs, so full of flavour

First time having the fish and I'm well impressed I light batter and cooked to perfection, lovely chips too also tried the Doner kebab a mixture of beef and lamb gave it the German feel different in taste absolutely wonderfull, a first class takeaway, all served by a group of great guys, cheers fellas. Best fish and chips ever. I live in Kent and always look forward to getting lunch from Alan's when visiting relatives in the area. Just wish I lived nearer, I'd be there every week!

Great local fish & chip shop, offering a lot more choice inside, burgers, kebabs etc. I ordered Sausage in batter and chips, fresh, hot, and tasty served in a box. Only take cash, no card payments taken
